And I approve of your choice. AJ is orange, after all, which is a "fall" colour. It fits together.
The background is just a little short of achieving a true feeling of a grass/hay surface/field, just because of the slight detailing in the top left quarter, but given the speed of the painting, that's not bad. The combination of starker two-tone shading and slight gradients within the shaded colours is great. And I daresay that you've managed to improve your speedy pony shape creation quite a bit compared to the first of the series. Great job!
